Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5626, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Iraido Ayllon started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Grecco AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Cerilo Incera came free, but Aloisio Saavedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aloisio Saavedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cerilo Incera, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Jeronimo Reinosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Zuzen Vuelta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cerilo Incera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Aloisio Saavedra made a huge save. If Cerilo Incera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Fernendo Secadura came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Hercules FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernendo Secadura couldn't finish the play. Chumo Algorta's late challenge caught a Hercules FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Chumo Algorta helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Grecco AFC's Chumo Algorta got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cerilo Incera in the 21st minute of play forced Grecco AFC's goalkeeper Aloisio Saavedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Jeronimo Reinosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grecco AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Reinosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zuzen Vuelta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeronimo Reinosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zuzen Vuelta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Cerilo Incera ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aloisio Saavedra was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Cerilo Incera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloisio Saavedra having to interfere. Grecco AFC's Aloisio Saavedra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Grecco AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Cerilo Incera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aitor Secadura hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cerilo Incera made a kick off. Jeronimo Reinosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Zuzen Vuelta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Chumo Algorta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grecco AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chumo Algorta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 61stth minute of the game Cerilo Incera who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Grecco AFC's Aloisio Saavedra was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zuzen Vuelta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iraido Ayllon in the 63rd minute of play. Hercules FC's Jüri Umal got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 74th match minute, Hercules FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cerilo Incera to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Jüri Umal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Aloisio Saavedra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cerilo Incera in the 82nd minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Grecco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Chumo Algorta. Sugar Hebia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aloisio Saavedra having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cerilo Incera in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aloisio Saavedra saved Grecco AFC from getting behind. Jüri Umal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Aloisio Saavedra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeronimo Reinosa's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zuzen Vuelta firmly grabbed it by the left post. Cerilo Incera might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aloisio Saavedra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cerilo Incera ran back to his position shaking his head. There was no doubt that Hercules FC were the better team. Hercules FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
