Xiao Trevijano came out of the goal and Xzaver Barbadillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caracakingo Francia might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xiao Trevijano. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caracakingo Francia ran back to his position shaking his head. Eladio Cañas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Quinton Vivanco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Quinton Vivanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerazan Zuñiga in the 29th minute of play. Xiao Trevijano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xzaver Barbadillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Eladio Cañas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinton Vivanco having to interfere. In the 64th match minute, Maronas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esiquio Villalcazar to maneuver through the defense. After 68 played minutes Maronas FC got a freekick which was hit by Gelacio Horreo. In the 69th minute of the match Alfonso Unzaga sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xiao Trevijano skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Soto AFC booed when Maronas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eladio Cañas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xiao Trevijano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caracakingo Francia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soto AFC's Quinton Vivanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerazan Zuñiga in the 77th minute of play. If Eladio Cañas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 85th match minute, Soto AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucado Gamez to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Soto AFC's Quinton Vivanco got control of the ball when Eladio Cañas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 93rd minute Xzaver Barbadillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xiao Trevijano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
