The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Abayuba's goalkeeper Quintan Soto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rai Janer. 6 minutes into the game, Abayuba's Remigio Osaviaga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Orbea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Abayuba's Remigio Osaviaga got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teodor Lezarreta hit a great ball. Acegua's Adan Mugica couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 19th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Abayuba. Terciero Raon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute of the match, Rai Janer got a very nice opportunity to score, but Quintan Soto was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Zxavian Lerdo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Remigio Osaviaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Sebastian Orbea managed to avoid a goal in the 85thth minute, when Abayuba's Remigio Osaviaga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Remigio Osaviaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lluis Purrigimon's late challenge caught a Abayuba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
