Spectators: 6694 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victor Urruela started the match with the kick off. Victor Urruela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Santecilla having to interfere. Bakar Durazno charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bakar Durazno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Aimar Beneit scored 1-0 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nesto Reigada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience was convinced that Aimar Beneit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nesto Reigada was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Victor Urruela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Victor Urruela in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elpidio Santecilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Charqueada's Nesto Reigada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gervaso Presedo in the 23rd minute of play. After 25 minutes, Victor Urruela made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Minas's Elpidio Santecilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 30 minutes into the game, Charqueada's Victor Urruela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Santecilla made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Gervaso Presedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nesto Reigada having to interfere. Nesto Reigada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gervaso Presedo in the 41st minute of play. In the 46th minute of the match Isaac Seca sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elpidio Santecilla skillfully saved the ball. After the first half Charqueada were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gervaso Presedo made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervaso Presedo in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nesto Reigada saved Charqueada from getting behind. Victor Urruela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 played minutes Charqueada got a freekick which was hit by Celino Gaztañondo. Charqueada's Nesto Reigada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aimar Beneit in the 59th minute of play. Eustaquio Rivadeneira hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Charqueada's zone, Aimar Beneit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nesto Reigada came out of the goal and Aimar Beneit tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 minutes of play Charqueada's Bakar Durazno was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Bakar Durazno hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Gervaso Presedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Gervaso Presedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nesto Reigada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes into the match, Charqueada's goal looked a bit too open when Aimar Beneit came free, but Nesto Reigada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gervaso Presedo in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nesto Reigada saved Charqueada from getting behind. If Aimar Beneit had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aimar Beneit received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Nesto Reigada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Minas booed when Charqueada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Urruela didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Charqueada's zone, Aimar Beneit stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nesto Reigada came out of the goal and Aimar Beneit tried to chip the ball over his head.
