Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) Charqueada's Victor Urruela started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 played minutes Penarol got a freekick which was hit by Salomon Blancas. Nesto Reigada didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egoi Vitoria went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Celino Gaztañondo thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Nesto Reigada, a very annoying self made goal in the 10th minute which led to 0-2. After a rather tough play, Charqueada's Bakar Durazno got a free kick in the 18th minute. Egoi Vitoria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nesto Reigada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Penarol got a freekick which was hit by Joanes Sobrefuentes. Egoi Vitoria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Joanes Sobrefuentes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Penarol's supporters rose to their feet, but Joanes Sobrefuentes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nesto Reigada breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joanes Sobrefuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Egoi Vitoria struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Nesto Reigada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Penarol. 44 minutes into the match, Charqueada's goal looked a bit too open when Joanes Sobrefuentes came free, but Nesto Reigada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nesto Reigada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Egoi Vitoria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joanes Sobrefuentes to make the kick off. Joanes Sobrefuentes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Nesto Reigada successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 57th minute Zayveon Docanado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nesto Reigada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victor Urruela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Maeijnarts having to interfere. Egoi Vitoria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Nesto Reigada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joanes Sobrefuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. When Charqueada's Victor Urruela in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Penarol's goalie prevented a goal. Boniel Aya recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Boniel Aya came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Charqueada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boniel Aya couldn't finish the play. Bartuelo Perez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stephen Maeijnarts having to interfere. Stephen Maeijnarts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Urruela in the 91st minute of play. Joanes Sobrefuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Boniel Aya struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Stephen Maeijnarts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Charqueada. Penarol's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
