If Garaona Samamies had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fortun Betancur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Buedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Roldan got free with Fortun Betancur in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Topador walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
