The Dalmau Quintianan was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Tengen Toppa's Dalmau Quintianan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Ribero in the 15th minute of play. When Tipi Montealegre came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Totoral AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tipi Montealegre couldn't finish the play. Horacio Caldeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmau Quintianan having to interfere. Tipi Montealegre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmau Quintianan having to make a save. A collision led to Tengen Toppa getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Silverio Ribacoba hit a great ball. Dalmau Quintianan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Horacio Caldeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Tengen Toppa's zone, Horacio Caldeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dalmau Quintianan came out of the goal and Horacio Caldeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 39th minute, Sansone Paris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Sansone Paris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Totoral AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sansone Paris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmau Quintianan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Horacio Caldeiro in the 43rd minute of play forced Tengen Toppa's goalkeeper Dalmau Quintianan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Benet Postigo was the one to do the kick off. Tengen Toppa's Dalmau Quintianan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 99th minute of the match, managed to save Tengen Toppa from getting a goal against them. Totoral AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
