Spectators: 6705 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gabon Reimundez kicked off to start the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geofredo Linares got free with Eutor Fururia in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eutor Fururia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xarles Cabezas in the 6th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emmanuel Collazos in the 10th minute of play forced Reboledo's goalkeeper Gines Barajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute, Gabon Reimundez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mederos fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Mederos's goalkeeper Eutor Fururia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Geofredo Linares. After having played for 30 minutes, Emmanuel Collazos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mederos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emmanuel Collazos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xarles Cabezas in the 32nd minute of play forced Mederos's goalkeeper Eutor Fururia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Reboledo's zone, Emmanuel Collazos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gines Barajas came out of the goal and Emmanuel Collazos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gines Barajas stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabon Reimundez's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute Emmanuel Collazos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gines Barajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emmanuel Collazos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute, Gabon Reimundez made a precise shot to the right of Gines Barajas. Reboledo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. When Emmanuel Collazos came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Mederos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emmanuel Collazos couldn't finish the play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xarles Cabezas to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabon Reimundez in the 56th minute of play forced Reboledo's goalkeeper Gines Barajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the game, Geofredo Linares cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Eutor Fururia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eutor Fururia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xarles Cabezas in the 82nd minute of play. Cucao Oliver's late challenge caught a Mederos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cucao Oliver helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd minute, Cucao Oliver hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
