Spectators: 7295 (Terracing: 5583, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) Lucado Maceda started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Candil's Lucado Maceda in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlas FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 6 minutes of play, Candil's Lucado Maceda made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Isadore Pisciña was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Atlas FC booed when Candil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sein Sonibas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xabat Helguera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chale Caroll in the 11th minute of the match. If Quirce Altamirano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucila Rujido could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Xabat Helguera made a huge save. Chale Caroll recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 19 played minutes Candil got a freekick which was hit by Ruperto Bango. Ramos Alcayde was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 20th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Quirce Altamirano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Atlas FC got a freekick which was hit by Basilio Sans. Quirce Altamirano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isadore Pisciña having to interfere. Lucila Rujido blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xabat Helguera having to make a save. Ruperto Bango charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruperto Bango the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Candil getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ruperto Bango hit a great ball. In the 29th minute of the match Ramos Alcayde shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Xabat Helguera showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Atlas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Quirce Altamirano came free, but Isadore Pisciña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Lucado Maceda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Lucila Rujido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Atlas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Candil were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chale Caroll stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Lucila Rujido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucado Maceda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isadore Pisciña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. If Lucila Rujido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Chale Caroll struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Xabat Helguera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlas FC. Quirce Altamirano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Isadore Pisciña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 87 minutes into the game, Lucado Maceda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Isadore Pisciña. Lucado Maceda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. Quirce Altamirano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Isadore Pisciña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucado Maceda in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isadore Pisciña saved Atlas FC from getting behind. 95 minutes into the match, Chale Caroll had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xabat Helguera. Candil's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chale Caroll was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Candil had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
