Xarles Pintado charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xarles Pintado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Xarles Pintado hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ihintza Araujo got free with Dino Abajas in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dino Abajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xizavier Bolaño in the 7th minute of play. In the 11th match minute, Carmelo City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lixandro Lorenzo to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes Carmelo City got a freekick which was hit by Zuri Aguinaco. Dino Abajas stood somewhat misplaced when Xizavier Bolaño came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. With a little luck, Reducto's Dino Abajas got control of the ball when Ihintza Araujo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dino Abajas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lixandro Lorenzo in the 28th minute of play. Xizavier Bolaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Tano Castejana dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dino Abajas, 2-0. The supporters of Reducto booed when Carmelo City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lixandro Lorenzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pinto Fominaya didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Regis Cadimo went, in the 38th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Reducto's zone, Xizavier Bolaño stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Abajas came out of the goal and Xizavier Bolaño tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 45 minutes, Telmo Viñambre mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Reducto and the Carmelo City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th match minute, Reducto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Telmo Viñambre to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Carmelo City booed when Reducto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diaz Valle didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dino Abajas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Xizavier Bolaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Abajas having to interfere. If Ihintza Araujo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tano Castejana scored 4-1 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dino Abajas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Reducto's goal looked a bit too open when Xizavier Bolaño came free, but Dino Abajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tano Castejana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute Tano Castejana shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Regis Cadimo came free with the goalkeeper in the 81st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Pinto Fominaya could save by the left post. Lixandro Lorenzo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 minutes, Otsoko Vaz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carmelo City and the Reducto players grew even worse after the yellow card. A hard shot 85 in the game by Regis Cadimo from a close distance when the talented Pinto Fominaya managed to make a qualified save. Carmelo City's players were relieved. When Zuri Aguinaco fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carmelo City's protests and gave Zuri Aguinaco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Reducto booed when Carmelo City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zuri Aguinaco didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tano Castejana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xizavier Bolaño in the 96th minute of play forced Reducto's goalkeeper Dino Abajas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Carmelo City had played much better football throughout.
