Tano Castejana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isadore Pisciña having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Atlas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Xizavier Bolaño came free, but Isadore Pisciña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlas FC's goalkeeper Isadore Pisciña, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tano Castejana in the 33rd minute of play forced Atlas FC's goalkeeper Isadore Pisciña to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 39 minutes into the match, Carmelo City's goalkeeper Pinto Fominaya had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucila Rujido. Xizavier Bolaño recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xizavier Bolaño in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isadore Pisciña prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 46 minutes, Tano Castejana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carmelo City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tano Castejana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xizavier Bolaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Atlas FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Carmelo City were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chale Caroll to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Xizavier Bolaño got free with Isadore Pisciña in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pinto Fominaya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chale Caroll in the 59th minute of the match. Isadore Pisciña showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Xizavier Bolaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 67 minutes into the game, Atlas FC's Lucila Rujido nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pinto Fominaya made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Xizavier Bolaño struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Isadore Pisciña didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carmelo City.
