In the 3rd minute, Prudentio Velis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Xicu Viego charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xicu Viego the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 15th match minute, Selección de Borduria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xicu Viego to maneuver through the defense. Faro Negro came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by NACIONAL FC's Prudentio Velis. But to his dismay, Prudentio Velis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. When Xicu Viego was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 21 minutes had been played. A collision led to Selección de Borduria getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Xicu Viego hit a great ball. Maximo Bellmunt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Batista Alari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virila Coca having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Batista Alari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Selección de Borduria getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Procopio Echarri hit a great ball. Cruz Fias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faro Negro having to interfere. In the 59th match minute, Selección de Borduria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Plasencia to maneuver through the defense. Maximo Bellmunt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Virila Coca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Saturnino Plasencia in the 69th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by NACIONAL FC's Maore Marful. If Corderun Giner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldemar Victorino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 80 minutes into the match, NACIONAL FC's Corderun Giner sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Faro Negro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Faro Negro was a little too slow when Prudentio Velis got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-3. NACIONAL FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Selección de Borduria's much stronger midfield.
