Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Chilcas's Dolfos Cera started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Karl Pumm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cariguay's supporters rose to their feet, but Karl Pumm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernandez Joseph breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodney Ybañez in the 7th minute of play forced Cariguay's goalkeeper Horado Monasterio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernandez Joseph took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pitin Titos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute Karl Pumm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandez Joseph saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Karl Pumm's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernandez Joseph was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. With his leg Fernandez Joseph managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Cariguay's Karl Pumm fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Róbert Vorobeľ during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Karl Pumm fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandez Joseph having to interfere. When Cordarrol Alcain came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Cariguay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cordarrol Alcain couldn't finish the play. Horado Monasterio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Formerio Ascarraga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th minute, Cariguay's Pitin Titos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Karl Pumm who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Fernandez Joseph when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Cariguay's Timo Lazcano got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Juan-Carlos Ruperto walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.
The wind increased when Karl Pumm made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Cariguay's Cordarrol Alcain got a free kick in the 55th minute. Karl Pumm sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 58th minute, Rodney Ybañez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Horado Monasterio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolfos Cera in the 64th minute of play. Fernandez Joseph made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pitin Titos in the 65th minute of play. The supporters of Cariguay booed when Chilcas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xurxo Albo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Karl Pumm received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Fernandez Joseph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 71 minutes into the match, Timo Lazcano notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Chilcas's Fernandez Joseph. Fernandez Joseph was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute Karl Pumm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernandez Joseph saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee gave Chilcas a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emenon Pastrana, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cariguay's Horado Monasterio. 5-1. Juan-Carlos Ruperto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fernandez Joseph tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juan-Carlos Ruperto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernandez Joseph having to interfere. If Timo Lazcano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chilcas's zone, Juan-Carlos Ruperto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernandez Joseph came out of the goal and Juan-Carlos Ruperto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Karl Pumm struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Fernandez Joseph didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cariguay. After having played for 89 minutes, Juan-Carlos Ruperto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cariguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan-Carlos Ruperto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chilcas's Fernandez Joseph played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juan-Carlos Ruperto in the 91st minute of play. After having played for 93 minutes, Juan-Carlos Ruperto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cariguay's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juan-Carlos Ruperto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 98th minute, Pitin Titos made a precise shot to the right of Fernandez Joseph. Chilcas's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. When the referee ended the match the Cariguay players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
