Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kemen Casados got the match started through his kick off. Macerio Azaceta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Macerio Azaceta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Lavega having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 11 minutes, Pablo Lavega successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Macerio Azaceta in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pablo Lavega prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 14th minute, Macerio Azaceta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Curtina AFC defense, Feliz Bolimburu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xencio Guerrico. The Curtina AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xencio Guerrico should have stopped the shot. Chale Vozmediano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Pablo Lavega made a huge save. Kemen Casados scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xencio Guerrico, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Batista Arroyo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xencio Guerrico having to interfere. Xencio Guerrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batista Arroyo, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Macerio Azaceta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Pablo Lavega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Curtina AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chale Vozmediano to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Curtina AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Kemen Casados came free, but Xencio Guerrico reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Macerio Azaceta was the one to do the kick off. Xencio Guerrico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kemen Casados, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Pablo Lavega made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Macerio Azaceta in the 62nd minute of play. Pablo Lavega came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Curtina AFC's Macerio Azaceta. But to his dismay, Macerio Azaceta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Xencio Guerrico stood somewhat misplaced when Kemen Casados came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 69 minute. 73 minutes into the match, Verdun's goal looked a bit too open when Macerio Azaceta came free, but Pablo Lavega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Kemen Casados came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Verdun fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kemen Casados couldn't finish the play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curtina AFC's goalkeeper Xencio Guerrico, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Feliz Bolimburu's late challenge caught a Curtina AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Feliz Bolimburu helped the player get up and apologised. Pablo Lavega took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Macerio Azaceta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Verdun booed when Curtina AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lizbeth Pineros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 88 minutes into the match, Curtina AFC's goalkeeper Xencio Guerrico had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Batista Arroyo. Verdun's Pablo Lavega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chale Vozmediano in the 91st minute of play.
