The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes of play, Garzon's Demario Colsa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alonzo Galaz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Demario Colsa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 0-2 became the score in the 9th minute when Orland Cabero elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Zuberoa Vandoma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lore Balderrama in the 17th minute of the match. When Henrique Puncet came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Escudero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Puncet couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Escudero FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Osasun Pumeral hit a great ball. Henrique Puncet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Zuberoa Vandoma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Puncet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Zuberoa Vandoma made a huge save. 36 minutes had been played when some careless play by Garzon's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Leoiar Saiz was slow to take the kick. During this time Escudero FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Escudero FC's Leoiar Saiz to fire away a dangerous shot which Zuberoa Vandoma despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Henrique Puncet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Haitz Sepulveda struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Zuberoa Vandoma didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Escudero FC.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Demario Colsa to make the kick off. Demario Colsa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alonzo Galaz having to make a save. When Haitz Sepulveda came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Escudero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Haitz Sepulveda couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Garzon booed when Escudero FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lore Balderrama didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 63 in the game by Orland Cabero from a close distance when the talented Alonzo Galaz managed to make a qualified save. Escudero FC's players were relieved. Alonzo Galaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demario Colsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Henrique Puncet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haitz Sepulveda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Zuberoa Vandoma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henrique Puncet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Haitz Sepulveda had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zuberoa Vandoma. Garzon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Haitz Sepulveda was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Marcial Ameda kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. When Henrique Puncet came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Escudero FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henrique Puncet couldn't finish the play. When Osasun Pumeral fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Escudero FC's protests and gave Osasun Pumeral a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Escudero FC's Osasun Pumeral got a free kick in the 96th minute. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Garzon walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
