After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Claus Lupidana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pinera's supporters rose to their feet, but Claus Lupidana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casomiro Castañondo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 23 minutes, Eneas Aza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eneas Aza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Melchor Miranes hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Loi Turiela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lope Najar having to interfere. Claus Lupidana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Pinera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chuy FC the free kick. Jerardo Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Rene Elcano's late challenge caught a Pinera's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rene Elcano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd match minute, Chuy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Elcano to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Chuy FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claus Lupidana came free, but Casomiro Castañondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Neron Basante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
