Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ildefonso Beyso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Ildefonso Beysos short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Paulino Ayllon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Hever Gil hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Cordaryal Avellana, 16 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tab Chandivilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Montes Tene in the 20th minute of play. Carrasco FC's Baldomero Salcedo got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Carrasco FC defense, Zigor Melena kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulino Ayllon. The Carrasco FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulino Ayllon should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, Montes Tene ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tab Chandivilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Paulino Ayllon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Gracia in the 35th minute of the match. Ildefonso Beyso who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 36thth minute tested the skills of Paulino Ayllon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 44thth minute of the game Ildefonso Beyso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carrasco FC's Paulino Ayllon was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Montes Tene stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ildefonso Beyso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paulino Ayllon having to make a save. In the 53rd minute, Baldomero Salcedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Ildefonso Beyso came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Maldonado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Beyso couldn't finish the play. Tab Chandivilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Montes Tene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ildefonso Beyso in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Paulino Ayllon saved Carrasco FC from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Carrasco FC's Estavan Valcuende got a free kick in the 74th minute. After having played for 79 minutes, Ildefonso Beyso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maldonado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Beyso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 87 minutes into the match, Maldonado's Patricio Gracia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paulino Ayllon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ildefonso Beyso in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulino Ayllon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carrasco FC's Paulino Ayllon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Gracia in the 93rd minute of play. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrasco FC's goalkeeper Paulino Ayllon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Maldonado players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
