Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) A collision led to Maldonado getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Zigor Melena hit a great ball. After having played for 7 minutes, Ildefonso Beyso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maldonado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ildefonso Beyso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damario Ochandiano hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Vicente Tordomar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tambores fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 19thth minute of the game Vicente Tordomar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Maldonado's Tab Chandivilla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Dominix Nuño managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Maldonado's Ildefonso Beyso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some careless play in the Maldonado defense, Vicente Tordomar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tab Chandivilla. The Maldonado fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tab Chandivilla should have stopped the shot. Tambores's Dominix Nuño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Beyso in the 30th minute of play. Stephen Pozos kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Patricio Gracia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Dominix Nuño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ildefonso Beyso in the 36th minute of play forced Tambores's goalkeeper Dominix Nuño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 played minutes, Maldonado's Ciriaco Jimilio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dominix Nuño came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Maldonado reached it. When Ildefonso Beyso came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Maldonado fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ildefonso Beyso couldn't finish the play. In the 46th minute Aureliano Xixons suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vicente Tordomar to strike the kick off in the second half. Patricio Gracia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 66 minutes into the game, Vicente Tordomar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tambores's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maldonado the free kick. After 66 played minutes Tambores got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Tordomar. In the 68th minute, Viviano Almendras hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vicente Tordomar in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tab Chandivilla saved Maldonado from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Maldonado's Damario Ochandiano got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Tab Chandivilla made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erasmo Espinar in the 74th minute. Ildefonso Beyso, 76 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dominix Nuño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ildefonso Beyso in the 77th minute of play. Zigor Melena kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Ildefonso Beyso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Ildefonso Beyso had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dominix Nuño. Tambores's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ildefonso Beyso was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. In the 93rd minute, Tambores's Vicente Tordomar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tab Chandivilla. Tab Chandivilla yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. The supporters of Maldonado booed when Tambores was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teodosio Comas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Although Maldonado had been in control for most of the match, Tambores still came away with the win.
