Genaro Cedrun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute, Xefe Masferrer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lincoln FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Eguzki Madrid came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Rodolfo Montarco could save by the left post. After having played for 43 minutes, Eguzki Madrid managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Echeverry FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eguzki Madrid was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute Xefe Masferrer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafe Bruñon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xefe Masferrer made a kick off. Lincoln FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Echeverry FC the free kick. In the 90th match minute, Lincoln FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kusko Camazon to maneuver through the defense.
