In the 11th minute, Raimundo Urquizu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Minuano fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alan.felipe! In the 17th minute there was a penalty for Minuano. Dimo Menoyo stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Joao Zamanillo. 1-2. Joao Zamanillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Urquizu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, Minuano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robustiano Palenzuela to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute Maore Montoia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinei Majua saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Minuano defense, Cayo Pallar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudinei Majua. The Minuano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudinei Majua should have stopped the shot. Osoro Arieta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joao Zamanillo having to interfere. Cayo Pallar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

In the 54th minute, Cayo Pallar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 55th match minute, Minuano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Naelio Bueres to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute Raimundo Urquizu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joao Zamanillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Raimundo Urquizu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alan.felipe's Joao Zamanillo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 69th minute, Alan.felipe's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Osoro Arieta fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Osoro Arieta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Joao Zamanillo made a huge save. Claudinei Majua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maore Montoia in the 74th minute of play. Naelio Bueres hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Osoro Arieta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minuano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osoro Arieta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Osoro Arieta came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Minuano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osoro Arieta couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Alan.felipe's Joao Zamanillo got control of the ball when Osoro Arieta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ostargi Cotera's late challenge caught a Minuano's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ostargi Cotera helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Ostargi Cotera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alan.felipe's goalkeeper Joao Zamanillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Minuano's Osoro Arieta got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
