Froila Gijon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zeledon Baragaño having to interfere. Zeledon Baragaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dodorol Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Dodorol Murillo took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeledon Baragaño. Zeledon Baragaño dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 11th minute, Vicente Lagunilla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 13 minutes, Rameriz Calderona mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Segarra and the Ferrer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rameriz Calderona hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Feliciano Tristan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vicente Lagunilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zeledon Baragaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dodorol Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Zeledon Baragaño made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Froila Gijon in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute Dodorol Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Baragaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froila Gijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Zeledon Baragaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rameriz Calderona was shown his second yellow card after 38 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Felipe Pena charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Pena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Felipe Pena hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froila Gijon in the 46th minute of play forced Segarra's goalkeeper Zeledon Baragaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dodorol Murillo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Segarra getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Vicente Lagunilla hit a great ball. Ferrer's Esteve Viana shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 55th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Zeledon Baragaño but with some difficulty. Ferrer's Feliciano Tristan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joselito Crespo in the 56th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Vicente Lagunilla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esteve Viana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Dodorol Murillo got free in front of the goal in the 69th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Zeledon Baragaño was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dodorol Murillo might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeledon Baragaño. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dodorol Murillo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Segarra's Vicente Lagunilla got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Ferrer's Esteve Viana couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 74th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Segarra. Segarra's Zeledon Baragaño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Segarra from getting a goal against them. Ferrer's Koldobika Urtaza suffered a concussion after 76 minutes and had to leave the field. 76 minutes into the game, Dolfos Azailla was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Segarra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferrer the free kick. Dolfos Azailla hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. If Joselito Crespo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ourente Prelo kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. When Delfino Calzon came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Ferrer fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delfino Calzon couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Ferrer booed when Segarra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Lagunilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute of the match Esteve Viana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zeledon Baragaño showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Segarra's Zeledon Baragaño proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Segarra from getting a goal against them.
