Geleberto Baracaldo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chumo Orta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sandaili Obregon kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Geleberto Baracaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ganix Sobrido in the 19th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Ganix Sobrido's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Geleberto Baracaldo was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. 21 minutes into the game, Ganix Sobrido was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salto's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Comadreja the free kick. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salto's goalkeeper Orlandus Roca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, Salto's goal looked a bit too open when David Iranzo came free, but Orlandus Roca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Salto's Amado Descarrega got a free kick in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind C. A. Comadreja's goalkeeper Geleberto Baracaldo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Salto booed when C. A. Comadreja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Santikurtz Aspurua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geleberto Baracaldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ganix Sobrido went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Ermegildo Bueno struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Orlandus Roca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Comadreja. Gelacio Guardiola's late challenge caught a C. A. Comadreja's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gelacio Guardiola helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Salto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luix Pantoja to maneuver through the defense. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Iranzo was the one to do the kick off. The attack was good, but when David Iranzo in the 53rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 54thth minute of the game David Iranzo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salto's Orlandus Roca was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Iranzo in the 57th minute of play forced Salto's goalkeeper Orlandus Roca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When C. A. Comadreja's David Iranzo in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salto's goalie prevented a goal. Ermegildo Bueno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlandus Roca having to interfere. Ganix Sobrido recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 67th minute Oro Rayon suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Santikurtz Aspurua's late challenge caught a Salto's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santikurtz Aspurua helped the player get up and apologised. Santikurtz Aspurua kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 70 minutes of play C. A. Comadreja's Santikurtz Aspurua was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 71 played minutes C. A. Comadreja got a freekick which was hit by Santikurtz Aspurua. In the 73rd minute, Chumo Orta fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 78th minute Ermegildo Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlandus Roca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlandus Roca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sandaili Obregon in the 81st minute of the match. If Chumo Orta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermegildo Bueno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Iranzo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Orlandus Roca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlandus Roca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Salto's Orlandus Roca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Bueno in the 96th minute of play.
