Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Errolan Mobilla started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Palos Horna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mataojo's supporters rose to their feet, but Palos Horna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cesar Amundarain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cesar Amundarain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palos Horna in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th minute, Palos Horna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mataojo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 15th minute Hug Portero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Marcos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vila's Hug Portero got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Mataojo's Fagildo Candura got a free kick in the 17th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Mataojo's goal looked a bit too open when Donatello Barroso came free, but Miguel Marcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With his leg Cesar Amundarain managed to avoid a goal in the 19thth minute, when Mataojo's Xzaiver Boladeras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Palos Horna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Cesar Amundarain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hug Portero in the 28th minute of play forced Mataojo's goalkeeper Miguel Marcos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miguel Marcos came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Vila's Hug Portero. But to his dismay, Hug Portero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romelio Elejalde during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Romelio Elejalde hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Mataojo's goalkeeper Miguel Marcos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Mataojo's goal looked a bit too open when Hug Portero came free, but Miguel Marcos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 54th minute Mataojo were awarded a corner. Heli Moyeda went to the cornerflag to take it. Heli Moyeda made a great header on Mataojo's corner, it was just that Vila's Cesar Amundarain managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 55th minute of the match Belo Puellas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cesar Amundarain showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vila's Cesar Amundarain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xzaiver Boladeras in the 57th minute of play. Palos Horna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 64th minute, Azubeli Gijon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Mataojo's Donato Toyo got a free kick in the 68th minute. Oliveiro Vijil hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 73 minutes into the match, Vila's Donatello Barroso broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Miguel Marcos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Errolan Mobilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 79 in the game by Hug Portero from a close distance when the talented Miguel Marcos managed to make a qualified save. Mataojo's players were relieved. Ixona Matas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Amundarain having to interfere. 88 minutes into the game, Baladi Paradela was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vila's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mataojo the free kick. In the 88th match minute, Vila was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baladi Paradela to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Vila's zone, Xzaiver Boladeras stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cesar Amundarain came out of the goal and Xzaiver Boladeras tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
