Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Corderro Larrañaga started the match with the kick off. Anxo Escandàn didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Poncio Ameztoy went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. If Poncio Ameztoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bifurcacion's Poncio Ameztoy came free and shot a quick shot against goal 11 minutes in the game, fortunately Anxo Escandàn had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 13th minute, Lluterio Cemborain got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Poncio Ameztoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 19 minutes, Lluterio Cemborain managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maldonado FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lluterio Cemborain was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Bifurcacion's Malvin Sampil got a free kick in the 20th minute. Maldonado FC's Anxo Escandàn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malvin Sampil in the 28th minute of play. When Maldonado FC's Corderro Larrañaga in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bifurcacion's goalie prevented a goal. Vigil Ordax showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corderro Larrañaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd match minute, Bifurcacion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ishmael Agusto to maneuver through the defense. Lluterio Cemborain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Vigil Ordax tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute, Bifurcacion's Malvin Sampil ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Anxo Escandàn. Anxo Escandàn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Lluterio Cemborain's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vigil Ordax read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Rodas Somorrostro hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 43rd match minute Evarado Guim ran free in the middle of the field and shot a long shot which scored behind a totally surprised Anxo Escandàn. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Malvin Sampil to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Malvin Sampil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anxo Escandàn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Maldonado FC booed when Bifurcacion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Goren Tornamira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bifurcacion's Vigil Ordax played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lluterio Cemborain in the 60th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Bifurcacion's zone, Lluterio Cemborain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vigil Ordax came out of the goal and Lluterio Cemborain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Corderro Larrañaga in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vigil Ordax prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Goren Tornamira during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. With an all-out effort, Maldonado FC's Vigil Ordax threw himself towards the right post 68 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lluterio Cemborain, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 70th minute, Corderro Larrañaga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maldonado FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. After a defensive mix-up in Bifurcacion's zone, Corderro Larrañaga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vigil Ordax came out of the goal and Corderro Larrañaga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 80 minutes into the game, Lluterio Cemborain recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vigil Ordax. Lluterio Cemborain showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Corderro Larrañaga got free with Vigil Ordax in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bifurcacion's goalkeeper Vigil Ordax, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lluterio Cemborain might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vigil Ordax. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lluterio Cemborain ran back to his position shaking his head. Bifurcacion's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
