The supporters of Pinera FC booed when Club Nacional de Fútbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baleren Algarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Telo Rivas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Club Nacional de Fútbol's Pirmin Tariego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Clavell in the 29th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Pinera FC got a freekick which was hit by Tulio Horcasitas. In the 32nd minute, Saturnin Taviel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Club Nacional de Fútbol's Vimaro Valbaler threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Telo Rivas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

Etxahun Alberca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pirmin Tariego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celedonio Clavell in the 59th minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Andy Cordovilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pinera FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andy Cordovilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 85 minutes into the game, when Jon Daque put in a rough tackle. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
