Spectators: 7440 (Terracing: 5581, Seating: 1711, VIP seats: 148) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iyan Izaguirre took the kick off in the first half of the match. Vincente Burdeos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jesco Arrillaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Cortume's Isauro Magaz got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Damian Morentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iyan Izaguirre in the 7th minute of play. After 8 minutes, Batista Amirola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Minuano FC and the Cortume players grew even worse after the yellow card. 10 minutes into the match, Minuano FC's goalkeeper Damian Morentin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Isauro Magaz. 12 minutes into the game, Eugenio Cadiñanos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cortume's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Minuano FC the free kick. A collision led to Cortume getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Eugenio Cadiñanos hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xandro Escarraz in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincente Burdeos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Eugenio Cadiñanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cortume fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Minuano FC a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Hotz Lerma, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cortume's Vincente Burdeos. 0-1. Xandro Escarraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Vincente Burdeos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Blas Jares's late challenge caught a Minuano FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Blas Jares helped the player get up and apologised. Blas Jares hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. After 27 minutes of play Cortume's Eugenio Cadiñanos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Cortume getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Eugenio Cadiñanos hit a great ball. If Isauro Magaz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 41 minutes, Xandro Escarraz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Minuano FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Xandro Escarraz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Cortume players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Minuano FC were winning 0-2.

After a defensive mix-up in Cortume's zone, Xandro Escarraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincente Burdeos came out of the goal and Xandro Escarraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Xandro Escarraz came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Minuano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xandro Escarraz couldn't finish the play. 61 minutes into the match, Isauro Magaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damian Morentin. Minuano FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isauro Magaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. A collision led to Minuano FC getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Gilabert Encina hit a great ball. Xandro Escarraz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Vincente Burdeos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Xandro Escarraz, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 75 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Vincente Burdeos was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Cortume's zone, Xandro Escarraz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vincente Burdeos came out of the goal and Xandro Escarraz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Blas Jares was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 85 minutes had been played. 87 minutes into the match, Xandro Escarraz notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Cortume's Vincente Burdeos. Vincente Burdeos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Minuano FC's Gilabert Encina got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Minuano FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Cortume throughout the match.
