In the 11th match minute, Castillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mikeldi Abuleta to maneuver through the defense. When Inge Vicioso fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Castillo's protests and gave Inge Vicioso a yellow card for diving instead. Montes FC were furious when Turi Alcolea was red carded, 17 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 16th minute, one of Montes FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Montes FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Lisandro Felpeto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Montes FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Felpeto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romelio Rojas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 24 minutes, Lisandro Felpeto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lisandro Felpeto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feo Muñiz to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Jorrin Arzumendi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feo Muñiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feo Muñiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Bizen Ganado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Jorrin Arzumendi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Castillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorrin Arzumendi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Lisandro Felpeto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bizen Ganado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feo Muñiz in the 76th minute of the match. After 78 minutes Montes FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Guillelmus Yurrita who took care of the corner kick. After a rather tough play, Montes FC's Bernabel Ceballo got a free kick in the 79th minute. Bizen Ganado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feo Muñiz in the 80th minute of the match. After 83 played minutes Castillo got a freekick which was hit by Inge Vicioso. Lisandro Felpeto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Romelio Rojas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lisandro Felpeto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Castillo's Romelio Rojas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lisandro Felpeto in the 92nd minute of play. Romelio Rojas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Felpeto in the 93rd minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
