Nicanor Trevijano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Moldes in the 34th minute of the match. Mantzio Affonso struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Nicanor Trevijano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zapara. The supporters of Baygorria booed when Zapara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Merexildo Lossada didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute of the match Donatello Ungo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Larra Rivacoba showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Zapara's Merexildo Lossada got a free kick in the 80th minute. After some careless play in the Zapara defense, Rodolfo Paniagua kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Larra Rivacoba. The Zapara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Larra Rivacoba should have stopped the shot. If Rodolfo Paniagua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baygorria were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Zapara for a fine match.
