Tarariras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lonzo Atilano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 27 minutes into the game, Monte Cainzos cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Larra Rivacoba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Mantzio Affonso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 32 minutes into the match, Tarariras's goal looked a bit too open when Mantzio Affonso came free, but Gutierrre Badia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gutierrre Badia stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mantzio Affonso's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. If Urbano Moldes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Zapara's Mantzio Affonso ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gutierrre Badia. Gutierrre Badia yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Mantzio Affonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gutierrre Badia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Monte Cainzos to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Tarariras got a freekick which was hit by Txerran Muñana. Apolo Tavera took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gutierrre Badia. Tarariras's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 56 minutes, Mantzio Affonso made it 3-2 with a short kick to the right side. Tarariras's Gutierrre Badia tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Monte Cainzos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tarariras's supporters rose to their feet, but Monte Cainzos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Tadeu Escolar fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tarariras's protests and gave Tadeu Escolar a yellow card for diving instead. After 80 played minutes Tarariras got a freekick which was hit by Tadeu Escolar. The audience was convinced that Mantzio Affonso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gutierrre Badia was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Bernat Millera's late challenge caught a Zapara's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
