But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cordeara Almenara couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Xabat Haya's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mannie Bultes was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. Ermegildo Nogal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Bricianos in the 15th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gelacio Forcadas during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 24th minute, Sanchez's Xabat Haya ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mannie Bultes. With a little luck, Porvenir AFC's Mannie Bultes got control of the ball when Cordeara Almenara tried to sneak it across the goal line. 30 minutes into the game, one of Porvenir AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Xabat Haya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gelacio Forcadas got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Gonza Andolz hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. If Cordeara Almenara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Cortez Zarain was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Porvenir AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sanchez the free kick. After 70 played minutes Porvenir AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cortez Zarain. Porvenir AFC's Cortez Zarain got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Cortez Zarain off the ground. In the 75th match minute, Porvenir AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cortez Zarain to maneuver through the defense. Porvenir AFC's Mannie Bultes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordeara Almenara in the 76th minute of play. After 77 played minutes Porvenir AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ulises Bricianos. Cordeara Almenara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mannie Bultes having to interfere.
