Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donio Valdero in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faron Melendez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jose-Antonio Acipreste in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Xalvador Garaizabal saved Cordon AFC from getting behind. Faron Melendez came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Cordon AFC's Lucas Oñate. But to his dismay, Lucas Oñate quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Lucas Oñate could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Faron Melendez made a huge save. Faron Melendez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donio Valdero, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Jose-Antonio Acipreste sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jose-Antonio Acipreste to make the kick off. Clara FC's Faron Melendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Oñate in the 52nd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Baladi Salinas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Etxepare Capellan kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Jose-Antonio Acipreste in the 57th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The supporters of Cordon AFC booed when Clara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Demetrio Morua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Faron Melendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donio Valdero in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65thth minute of the game Lucas Oñate who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Clara FC's Faron Melendez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gaur Requenes hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Felix Avellana was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Lucas Oñate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Faron Melendez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Donio Valdero came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Cordon AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Donio Valdero couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Cordon AFC's Maju Taramona got a free kick in the 78th minute. If Baladi Salinas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jose-Antonio Acipreste fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xalvador Garaizabal having to interfere. Galoer Olaso's late challenge caught a Cordon AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Galoer Olaso helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Clara FC's Galoer Olaso got a free kick in the 86th minute.
