Amaro's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Amaro's Hodei Aceituno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurin Lemos in the 23rd minute of play. When Aristides Gambo came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Ziltoid FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aristides Gambo couldn't finish the play. Hodei Aceituno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurin Lemos, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Furtado Crespo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Goyo Barbari in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Goyo Barbari could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Furtado Crespo however easily saved by the left post. With a little luck, Ziltoid FC's Furtado Crespo got control of the ball when Goyo Barbari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Henrico Aulestia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurin Lemos in the 48th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hodei Aceituno saved Amaro from getting behind. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Laurin Lemos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
