With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beremundo Mallen in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frichoso Unzaga saved Tacuarembo AFC from getting behind. Beremundo Mallen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Frichoso Unzaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute, one of Bone FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bone FC. Bone FC:s Rogerio Bonilla showed great skill when he stopped Ihazintu Torrescassana:s penalty. After a defensive mix-up in Bone FC's zone, Timeteo Botbol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogerio Bonilla came out of the goal and Timeteo Botbol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xzaver Betances received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Rogerio Bonilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogerio Bonilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xzaver Betances in the 32nd minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Xzaver Betances left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tacuarembo AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Armando Ricote kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Timeteo Botbol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogerio Bonilla having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Haroldo Corullon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Xzaver Betances managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tacuarembo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Xzaver Betances was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rogerio Bonilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xzaver Betances stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Maju Llanez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timeteo Botbol might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogerio Bonilla. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Timeteo Botbol ran back to his position shaking his head. Tacuarembo AFC's Timeteo Botbol got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Tacuarembo AFC's Rogerio Bonilla threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Xzaver Betances, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Timeteo Botbol blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rogerio Bonilla having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Bone FC's zone, Xzaver Betances stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rogerio Bonilla came out of the goal and Xzaver Betances tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 66 minutes into the match, Tacuarembo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Alebio came free, but Frichoso Unzaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mikel Manzanedo kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, one of Bone FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Bone FC. In the 74th minute, Tacuarembo AFC got a penalty, and Ihazintu Torrescassana placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Timeteo Botbol's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 78thth minute, Rogerio Bonilla skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Timeteo Botbol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogerio Bonilla having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, Bone FC's goalkeeper Rogerio Bonilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timeteo Botbol. Xzaver Betances received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rogerio Bonilla came out and tried to block the shot, but Xzaver Betances slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 85th minute. In the 89th minute, Bone FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Timeteo Botbol fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 0-4 became the score in the 92nd minute when Timeteo Botbol elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tacuarembo AFC played a much better game than Bone FC and deserved their victory. The Bone FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
