Madaleno Zubieta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 54th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ortle Cernadas. Mercedes AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Celeste FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mercedes AFC the free kick. A collision led to Celeste FC getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Erasto Bergada hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Hipolito Comacho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zuberoa Bejarano. Celeste FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hipolito Comacho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 93rd match minute, Mercedes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baldomero Fuerte to maneuver through the defense. 95 minutes into the match, Celeste FC's Oliviero Almandoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ortle Cernadas narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
