In the 18th minute of the match Nicanor Moral sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Zuberoa Bejarano skillfully saved the ball. In the 29th minute Jokin Abel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zuberoa Bejarano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celeste FC's Oliviero Almandoz got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Erasto Bergada managed to get in a good position for a shot. Celeste FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Erasto Bergada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Salvadore Mendez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oliviero Almandoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Celeste FC's zone, Jokin Abel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zuberoa Bejarano came out of the goal and Jokin Abel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 73 minutes, Erasto Bergada managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celeste FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erasto Bergada was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gaufred Ozana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Sotes charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luis Sotes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 77th match minute, Celeste FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Sotes to maneuver through the defense. Zuberoa Bejarano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gaufred Ozana's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. If Erasto Bergada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
