Carmelo FC's Eate Rey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Carmelo FC from getting a goal against them. Blanco Polanco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 13thth minute, Eate Rey skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After 13 minutes, Ihintza Batalle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toledo and the Carmelo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ramiro Olaondo hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Ronaldo Santiyan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toledo's supporters rose to their feet, but Ronaldo Santiyan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eate Rey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldo Santiyan in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eate Rey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ihintza Batalle hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Carmelo FC's Lizar Botana got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. During the 31st minute of the match Ihintza Batalle completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ihintza Batalle a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Ihintza Batalle kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Isaias Barrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmiro Aguilar in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blanco Polanco got free with Eate Rey in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Toledo's Isaias Barrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Aguilar in the 39th minute of play. Lizar Botana scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isaias Barrio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Carmelo FC's Lizar Botana got a free kick in the 44th minute. Blanco Polanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Ronaldo Santiyan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Blanco Polanco made a kick off. In the 53rd minute Toledo were awarded a corner. Fagildo Cotes went to the cornerflag to take it. Ursino Sampedro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Isaias Barrio came out and tried to block the shot, but Ursino Sampedro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 55th minute. Blanco Polanco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Carmelo FC's Nunez Dagora shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 64th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Isaias Barrio but with some difficulty. When Ramiro Olaondo fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Toledo's protests and gave Ramiro Olaondo a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Toledo's Ramiro Olaondo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Ramiro Olaondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eate Rey having to interfere. In the 78thth minute of the game Lizar Botana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Toledo's Isaias Barrio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Isaias Barrio managed to avoid a goal in the 82ndth minute, when Carmelo FC's Delmiro Aguilar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lizar Botana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Isaias Barrio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Toledo booed when Carmelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ursino Sampedro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Ramiro Olaondo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Delmiro Aguilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
