The referee ignored Velazquez FC's protests and gave Anaya Coco a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Velazquez AFC booed when Velazquez FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anaya Coco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Goncalve Fontarigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Velazquez AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Goncalve Fontarigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zavier Montesinos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Brun Erce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Oier Cavadilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Montrell Encinas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferrer Pendones kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Montrell Encinas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oier Cavadilla in the 27th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Velazquez FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 36th minute. Penalty! Felix Urraca walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Goncalve Fontarigo in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zavier Montesinos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berdaitz Corrales during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Berdaitz Corrales hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 43 minutes into the game, Brun Erce recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Zavier Montesinos. Brun Erce showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. After 47 played minutes Velazquez FC got a freekick which was hit by Anaya Coco. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Oier Cavadilla got free with Montrell Encinas in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Valentim Casero in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Montrell Encinas saved Velazquez AFC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentim Casero in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Montrell Encinas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Ferrer Pendones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Velazquez AFC's Montrell Encinas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentim Casero in the 62nd minute of play. Velazquez AFC's Sugar Saladrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Valentim Casero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Montrell Encinas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner ended in Tiburcio Mir almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Velazquez AFC's Montrell Encinas did a great save. Valentim Casero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Montrell Encinas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Velazquez AFC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Velazquez FC for a fine match.
