Spectators: 6698 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 0) Fairy Tail's Llope Valdes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Heriberto getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Rosario Rancaño hit a great ball. If Piearres Pedulles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Renaldo Ferrer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heriberto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Renaldo Ferrer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Heriberto's zone, Piearres Pedulles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseo Pizaño came out of the goal and Piearres Pedulles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eliseo Pizaño came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Fairy Tail's Llope Valdes. But to his dismay, Llope Valdes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gai Canta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Renaldo Ferrer went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Rodolfo Portanares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eliseo Pizaño. Heriberto's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Renaldo Ferrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Bautista Carrillos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gai Canta was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. In the 42nd minute Llope Valdes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliseo Pizaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piearres Pedulles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Eliseo Pizaño tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bautista Carrillos to make the kick off. Bautista Carrillos scored 2-1 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gai Canta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Renaldo Ferrer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Filiberto Zumarraga hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Renaldo Ferrer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Heriberto fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Bautista Carrillos put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gai Canta. The supporters of Heriberto booed when Fairy Tail was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Isaias Marty didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renaldo Ferrer in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gai Canta saved Fairy Tail from getting behind. Eliseo Pizaño made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Piearres Pedulles sent off a good shot on target. Eliseo Pizaño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Piearres Pedulles in the 83rd minute. In the 85th minute Bautista Carrillos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gai Canta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Llope Valdes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Piearres Pedulles struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Eliseo Pizaño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fairy Tail. Fairy Tail's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
