The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabino Manzardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Odilon Aviñante was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Silvinho Rosado showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 52 minute of play. Roberto Cruz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bide Gabirondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After 89 minutes, Aresti Tablada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Libertad and the Rivera AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 89 played minutes Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Aresti Tablada.
