Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gabino Manzardo kicked off to start the match. After a rather tough play, Minas's Gorbea Holguin got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Gero Cora made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Bide Gabirondo sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Minas's Gero Cora got control of the ball when Bide Gabirondo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bide Gabirondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Gero Cora made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Minas's Cilio Paiz got a free kick in the 8th minute. Rivera AFC's Gabino Manzardo got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gero Cora made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabino Manzardo in the 13th minute of play. Bide Gabirondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 16 minutes into the game, Bide Gabirondo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Gero Cora was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pancho Navariega sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gabino Manzardo during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Minas booed when Rivera AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabino Manzardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oliveiro Vesga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Odilon Aviñante read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rivera AFC's zone, Pancho Navariega stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Odilon Aviñante came out of the goal and Pancho Navariega tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Oliveiro Vesga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Minas's supporters rose to their feet, but Oliveiro Vesga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Odilon Aviñante breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Oliveiro Vesga made the kick off in the second half. Roberto Salero kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Oliveiro Vesga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 58th match minute, Rivera AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaen Lumeras to maneuver through the defense. Zayvius Torga's late challenge caught a Minas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zayvius Torga helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rivera AFC's Zayvius Torga got a free kick in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliveiro Vesga in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Odilon Aviñante saved Rivera AFC from getting behind. Pancho Navariega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Odilon Aviñante made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Cilio Paiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gabino Manzardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Gero Cora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabino Manzardo in the 80th minute of play forced Minas's goalkeeper Gero Cora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Odilon Aviñante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliveiro Vesga in the 88th minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Rivera AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Oliveiro Vesga came free, but Odilon Aviñante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Pancho Navariega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Odilon Aviñante. Rivera AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pancho Navariega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. When Virila Galvez fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Minas's protests and gave Virila Galvez a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Minas getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Virila Galvez hit a great ball. 97 minutes into the match, Gabino Manzardo notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Minas's Gero Cora. Gero Cora was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
