After having played for 17 minutes, Oliviero Lozana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maguna's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliviero Lozana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Oliviero Lozana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Minas's Gero Cora played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oliviero Lozana in the 24th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliviero Lozana in the 30th minute of play forced Minas's goalkeeper Gero Cora to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Froila Barajo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maguna's supporters rose to their feet, but Froila Barajo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gero Cora breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Oliviero Lozana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute Froila Barajo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gero Cora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maguna's Froila Barajo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oliviero Lozana was the one to do the kick off. Oliviero Lozana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Froila Barajo scored 0-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gero Cora, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 56th minute, Vimaro Tarulla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oliviero Lozana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gero Cora having to interfere. If Pancho Navariega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Maguna's goalkeeper George Bonachea, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oliviero Lozana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gero Cora tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Minas getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Virila Galvez hit a great ball. In the 69thth minute of the game Oliviero Lozana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Minas's Gero Cora was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 76 played minutes Maguna got a freekick which was hit by Xamin Hondon. If Pancho Navariega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froila Barajo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Gero Cora made a huge save. In the 80th match minute, Minas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cilio Paiz to maneuver through the defense. If Karlo Lebrato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Karlo Lebrato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gero Cora saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Froila Barajo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Froila Barajo struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Gero Cora didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Maguna.
