Dolfo Velasco hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Salamanca FC's Cristian Villanueva couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Salamanca FC's Totakoxe Urtiaga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jorge Rosa. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Abilio Castilla's late challenge caught a Salamanca FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abilio Castilla helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Yaguari's Abilio Castilla got a free kick in the 25th minute. Rocendo Mancebo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clementi Cajigal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Totakoxe Urtiaga made the kick off in the second half. Abilio Castilla kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After 55 played minutes, Yaguari's Amato Gurruchaga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Clementi Cajigal came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yaguari reached it. Rodolfo Nafarrate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jorge Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Rosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Totakoxe Urtiaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. In the 66thth minute of the game Totakoxe Urtiaga who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yaguari's Jorge Rosa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mel Arripe hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. If Rodolfo Nafarrate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldir Antolin kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match.
