Spectators: 7182 (Terracing: 5497, Seating: 1685, VIP seats: 0) Urtungo Astoreca started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yiyo Tiedra got free with Clementi Cajigal in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 7 minutes into the game, Yiyo Tiedra cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Clementi Cajigal was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Urtungo Astoreca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes of play, Salamanca FC's Rodolfo Nafarrate made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Azubeli Santoyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Totakoxe Urtiaga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Azubeli Santoyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Rodolfo Nafarrate notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Brazo Oriental's Azubeli Santoyo. Azubeli Santoyo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 25 minutes into the game, Ascencio Pujol was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Brazo Oriental's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Salamanca FC the free kick. After 25 played minutes Brazo Oriental got a freekick which was hit by Ascencio Pujol. Yiyo Tiedra who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Clementi Cajigal when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rodolfo Nafarrate in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Azubeli Santoyo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Urtungo Astoreca's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clementi Cajigal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Rodolfo Nafarrate hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bento Tejerizo kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Salamanca FC's zone, Yiyo Tiedra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clementi Cajigal came out of the goal and Yiyo Tiedra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 42nd minute Rodolfo Nafarrate shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Azubeli Santoyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes, Rodolfo Nafarrate made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Brazo Oriental's Azubeli Santoyo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Totakoxe Urtiaga was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Brazo Oriental was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlomagno Mirafuentes to maneuver through the defense. Azubeli Santoyo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Totakoxe Urtiaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Totakoxe Urtiaga struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Azubeli Santoyo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salamanca FC. Urtungo Astoreca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yiyo Tiedra in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Clementi Cajigal saved Salamanca FC from getting behind. Urtungo Astoreca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Brazo Oriental's Azubeli Santoyo got control of the ball when Rodolfo Nafarrate tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Rodolfo Nafarrate had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brazo Oriental's Azubeli Santoyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Brazo Oriental from getting a goal against them. If Urtungo Astoreca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Salamanca FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Salamanca FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
