Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Juaneizu Arista started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Lavalleja's Ticho Lardero got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute of the match Cerilo Llera shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrzej Buczak showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Froila Regalado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ederono Valdespino, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. 7 minutes into the match, Ederono Valdespino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Froila Regalado. Berruti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ederono Valdespino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Berruti's Froila Regalado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dénes Bakó in the 12th minute of play. If Ederono Valdespino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th match minute, Berruti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Izana to maneuver through the defense. Andrzej Buczak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juaneizu Arista in the 20th minute of play. Froila Regalado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dénes Bakó in the 24th minute of play. Andrzej Buczak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melquiades Igarza in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute of the match Josepe Lopez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Froila Regalado skillfully saved the ball. Dénes Bakó recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berruti's Melquiades Igarza got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juaneizu Arista in the 34th minute of play forced Lavalleja's goalkeeper Andrzej Buczak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ederono Valdespino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froila Regalado having to interfere. Ederono Valdespino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After 57 played minutes, Berruti's Cerilo Llera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Andrzej Buczak came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Berruti reached it. In the 59th minute, Melquiades Igarza made a precise shot to the right of Andrzej Buczak. Lavalleja's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Berruti getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Justin Blanco hit a great ball. In the 64th match minute, Berruti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Melquiades Igarza to maneuver through the defense. Dénes Bakó struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Froila Regalado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lavalleja. Ticho Lardero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Froila Regalado made a huge save. Ederono Valdespino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froila Regalado having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Lavalleja's Ederono Valdespino got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 76th minute, Lavalleja's Ederono Valdespino fired away a free kick that almost went in the goal. Froila Regalado was prepared for the shot, but didn't have to make a play as the shot flew over the goal. After 77 played minutes Lavalleja got a freekick which was hit by Malvin Espoa. After some careless play in the Lavalleja defense, Juaneizu Arista kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andrzej Buczak. The Lavalleja fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andrzej Buczak should have stopped the shot. Lavalleja played a much better game than Berruti and deserved their victory. The Berruti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
