The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 18 minutes into the match, Sanson Baneros notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Tropiezo FC's Helder Acaron. Helder Acaron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sanson Baneros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tropiezo FC's goalkeeper Helder Acaron, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joey Villoldo in the 28th minute of play forced Averias FC's goalkeeper Bernard Toca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Xaime Clemente fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tropiezo FC's protests and gave Xaime Clemente a yellow card for diving instead. Xaime Clemente kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, Averias FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Villapecellin came free, but Bernard Toca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lawrence Barrientos to make the kick off. Miguel Villapecellin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Bernard Toca came out and tried to block the shot, but Miguel Villapecellin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 59th minute. Lawrence Barrientos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Helder Acaron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the game, Andrea Torrecillas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Helder Acaron was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tropiezo FC's Helder Acaron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lawrence Barrientos in the 80th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Averias FC's zone, Miguel Villapecellin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernard Toca came out of the goal and Miguel Villapecellin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Miguel Villapecellin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tropiezo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Villapecellin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernard Toca breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bastia Madariaga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Tropiezo FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Averias FC.
