The supporters of Itapeby AFC booed when Salto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Castel Aramoyana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Garoa Secanell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ibar Arrizabalaga in the 47th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reyes Teigeiro to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Salto's Reyes Teigeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lisandro Carreira made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Reyes Teigeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Lisandro Carreira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Furman Lizarazu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Carreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Furman Lizarazu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Carreira having to interfere. Ibar Arrizabalaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Garoa Secanell made a huge save. After 72 minutes Itapeby AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mannie Aldana who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Salto's Mannie Aldana to fire away a dangerous shot which Lisandro Carreira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of Salto booed when Itapeby AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lohitzun Coracera didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Reyes Teigeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Itapeby AFC's Lisandro Carreira was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Salto's Reyes Teigeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lisandro Carreira narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Reyes Teigeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
