Spectators: 6730 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 0) Grecco's Rozarius Carrero started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Artal Dopacio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Grecco's Iaki Corono played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amancio Castells in the 7th minute of play. Valdense's Chano Sorondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rozarius Carrero in the 14th minute of play. Chano Sorondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rozarius Carrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 19 played minutes Grecco got a freekick which was hit by Soin Godines. In the 26th minute, Rozarius Carrero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chano Sorondo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Valdense's Amancio Castells got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nel Escuza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Iaki Corono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Grecco got a freekick which was hit by Orlan Alfeiran. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amancio Castells in the 43rd minute of play forced Grecco's goalkeeper Iaki Corono to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Amancio Castells made a kick off. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Grecco's goalkeeper Iaki Corono, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nel Escuza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Iaki Corono tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amancio Castells fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iaki Corono having to interfere. Amancio Castells sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Nel Escuza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iaki Corono was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. If Nel Escuza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute, Iratxo Cianca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute Amancio Castells shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iaki Corono saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chano Sorondo made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Confesor Bilbao sent off a good shot on target. When Valdense's Amancio Castells in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Grecco's goalie prevented a goal. When Nel Escuza came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Valdense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nel Escuza couldn't finish the play. In the 95th match minute, Valdense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Josu Elorriaga to maneuver through the defense. Grecco were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Valdense's much stronger midfield.
