In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Floresta's goalkeeper Diego Infiesto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tadzio Traus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Diego Infiesto made a huge save. Zosimo Urtarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Robustiano Villares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zosimo Urtarte's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Floresta's goalkeeper Diego Infiesto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tadzio Traus. Robustiano Villares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herensuge Franco in the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Ejercito Rojo's Mingo Ruifrancos got a free kick in the 34th minute. Herensuge Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 38 played minutes Ejercito Rojo got a freekick which was hit by Arias Mel. When Zosimo Urtarte came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Floresta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zosimo Urtarte couldn't finish the play. Ejercito Rojo's Joel Zuniga got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joel Zuniga made a kick off. If Joel Zuniga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tebaldo Artiz hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 55 minutes into the match, Ejercito Rojo's Misael Miera broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The audience was convinced that Herensuge Franco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Robustiano Villares was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Herensuge Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Herensuge Franco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Diego Infiesto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Zuniga in the 83rd minute of play. The attack was good, but when Zosimo Urtarte in the 87th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 90 minutes into the match, Ejercito Rojo's goal looked a bit too open when Herensuge Franco came free, but Robustiano Villares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlo Massana charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlo Massana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Orlo Massana hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When Tadzio Traus came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Ejercito Rojo fans jumped to their feet. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
