Spectators: 6702 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1702, VIP seats: 0) Gogo Chapa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Honorio Navaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Platon's supporters rose to their feet, but Honorio Navaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bastia Gallano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bastia Gallano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Navaes in the 9th minute of the match. Jurdan Cortinas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Errapel Bugedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gogo Chapa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ysidro Pantigoso charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ysidro Pantigoso the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After some careless play in the Valdense defense, Walme Bolilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bastia Gallano. The Valdense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bastia Gallano should have stopped the shot. Clis Coleira's late challenge caught a Valdense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clis Coleira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, Platon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clis Coleira to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Honorio Navaes in the 47th minute of play forced Valdense's goalkeeper Bastia Gallano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Platon were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walme Bolilla to make the kick off. Gogo Chapa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Errapel Bugedo having to interfere. Ysidro Pantigoso hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Errapel Bugedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurdan Cortinas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Polo Zadaya received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Errapel Bugedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Valdense's Bastia Gallano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walme Bolilla in the 84th minute of play. After 87 minutes Valdense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gutierre Frade who took care of the corner kick. Platon's Gutierre Frade was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Bastia Gallano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Honorio Navaes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Platon's zone, Franko Quadros stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Errapel Bugedo came out of the goal and Franko Quadros tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Platon supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Platon would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
