Concordia FC's Gonsalve Molleda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frederik Noguerol in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Concordia FC's Peruxu Sastrias got a free kick in the 4th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Arotza Covarrubias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonsalve Molleda. Concordia FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arotza Covarrubias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Sotil Peñas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Concordia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sotil Peñas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulino Tejeyra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 20th minute, Peruxu Sastrias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Paulino Tejeyra was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Paulino Tejeyra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edson Lertora in the 25th minute of play. Gonsalve Molleda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frederik Noguerol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Peñarol de Corrales's Marciano Lomeli got a free kick in the 34th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Concordia FC's Librado Viñe tried to score from far away in the 35th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Peñarol de Corrales's zone, Edson Lertora stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paulino Tejeyra came out of the goal and Edson Lertora tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edson Lertora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sotil Peñas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Paulino Tejeyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edson Lertora stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edson Lertora sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th match minute, Concordia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Icazate to maneuver through the defense. Paulino Tejeyra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edson Lertora, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edson Lertora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulino Tejeyra having to interfere. Paulino Tejeyra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Sotil Peñas notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Peñarol de Corrales's Paulino Tejeyra. Paulino Tejeyra was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 79th minute, Edson Lertora fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Paulino Tejeyra, passed just outside the right post. Sotil Peñas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edson Lertora's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulino Tejeyra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Peñarol de Corrales's Paulino Tejeyra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Peñarol de Corrales from getting a goal against them. In the 92nd match minute, Peñarol de Corrales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Andrino to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Peñarol de Corrales's Frederik Noguerol sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gonsalve Molleda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Despite being the better team, Concordia FC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
